I have lived in Memphis
, Tennessee for the majority of my life. I was born in Germantown in 1995, grew up going to Germantown Baptist Church
as a kid, and graduated from Harding Academy of Memphis
in 2013. I became a Christian at a young age (although there were a few rough spots along the way) and my relationship with Christ has given me joy beyond belief, a deep desire to help others, a love for building relationships, and a passion for positively impacting the life of every person I meet. I know that my calling is to love, help, and serve others. Colossians 3:23 states, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord and not for men,” and I know that I am not only working for myself, but for the Lord in everything I do. One of the results of my relationship with Christ is an unrelenting drive to be the absolute best that I can be at everything that I do. The work ethic instilled in me allowed me to play baseball in high school, play competitively with the Memphis Tigers
organization, and eventually gave me the opportunity to earn both academic and athletic scholarships at Union University
and Freed-Hardeman University
. Although my dream of playing in the MLB
did not work out, God’s plan for my life has worked out perfectly.
After leaving Freed-Hardeman, I moved back to Memphis to finish the coursework required for a Business Marketing degree at the University of Memphis
during the spring semester of 2018. Once I realized that I did not want to pursue a career in marketing, I began thinking through what I actually want to do with my life. I wanted to find a career that allowed me to meet new people, cultivate relationships, and have the opportunity to help others on a daily basis. I came to the realization that being a real estate agent is one of the only careers that allow me to do ALL of those things! Once I discovered my calling in real estate, I completed the education required to become a real estate agent, took the licensing exam, and became a Realtor
Within a month of finishing the spring semester at U of M, I married the love of my life, Grace Ann Shorter
(now Grace Ann Flowers), and then left to go on our honeymoon to the Sandals Resort
on the island of St. Lucia
… while also trying to start my new career as a Realtor with Keller Williams Realty
. Life was happening extremely fast, almost too fast, and I was ready to start working. When we made it home, I truly started working as a Realtor. I honestly could not see myself in any other line of work! I have moved over to eXp Realty
, I love everything about my job, I love meeting new people, and I love helping others.
